The Scientific Council of the Doha Historical Dictionary of Arabic will hold its 9th meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Ramzi Baalbaki at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha, between 10 and 11 May 2017.
The agenda includes the ratification of the minutes of the 8th meeting and the report of the Executive Board to be presented by Dr. Aze-Eddine Bouchikhi, Executive Director of the Dictionary. Next, the Council moves to adopt the lexical entries that have been completed, to consider terms according to the rules and guidelines of terminology processing, to discuss the issue of date in the dictionary, in addition to some detailed scientific issues. The Council will also be briefed on the draft introduction of the Dictionary.
